Purchase and payment process

  • In the shopping cart of your online store, the customer chooses the payment method  PayLaterTB, in the case of a brick-and-mortar store, the customer makes an order with the seller, which the customer verifies by entering the order number and amount
  • the customer fills out an application for a consumer loan online
  • the funds will be transferred to your account automatically after the consumer loan has been drawn down
  • you can ship the goods on the basis of a binding notification from the bank

Loan parameters

  • consumer loans can be used to finance goods and services in the amount of 100 to 30 000 EUR
  • the customer can choose a consumer loan repayment period of 6 to 96 months
  • a consumer loan can be obtained by a natural person, a citizen of the Slovak Republic with a permanent residence in the Slovak Republic, between the ages of 18 and 64, with income from employment, business or pension

Terms of service

To use PayLaterTB, the following conditions must be met:

  • you are an entrepreneur registered in the OR SR or ŽR SR and the owner of a business account maintained at Tatra banka or another bank in Slovakia,
  • your store must not offer goods or services and contain any information that is in conflict with the legal order of the Slovak Republic,
  • you are a supplier of goods or a service provider in a store and you perform the activity in your own name (you are not an intermediary),
  • you conclude a contract with the bank on the provision of PayLaterTB service or through PayLaterTB portal
  • you set up your electronic environment according to the technical specification for the implementation of the service, in the case of a brick-and-mortar store, you connect the store to PayLaterTB portal according to the instructions specified in the contract

Procedure for service activation

We provide two options to activate our service

1. Access via plugin

If you prefer fast and efficient implementation, you can use a plugin.

How to activate the service:

  • visit one of the sites where the plugin is publicly available
  • you can find available plugins for these platforms on the tatrapay+ website
  • then follow the instructions on the selected page
  • to connect the plugin, you need to register on the Developer portal, where you generate an API key and an application password.

Advantages:

  • immediate access to the service
  • no API knowledge required
  • no implementation costs

2.Access through the API interface

If your e-shop is created on a platform for which a plugin is not yet available, you can also use the service via the API interface

How to activate the service:

  • API documentation is freely available without registration on the Developer portal in the "API Documentation" section
  • you can find detailed technical documentation on the portal. PayLaterTB solution is part of the "Tatrapayplus API", where you can find the necessary instructions for integration
  • after registering on the Developer portal, you can try the service through our test environment (Sandbox)
  • in order to have an available API key and application password, it is necessary to register on the Developer portal
