A security is a financial instrument that represents an ownership or debt right and can be traded on financial markets. The holder of a security has certain rights, such as the right to a share of profits, interest income, or the right to exchange it for other assets. In the past, it was mainly in paper form, but today the electronic form dominates. Some of the most well-known securities include stocks and bonds. Units of mutual funds are also electronic securities.

Conditions for concluding a transaction
- have signed a Request for trading with the Bank, or the relevant contractual documentation
- established Investment account at Tatra banka
- time for agreeing on the trade: by phone 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
